Oct. 11, 2007 - 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon & Bordeaux-Style Blends
The 1997 Ch. St. Jean Cinq Cepages was the runaway winner of our October tasting of 1997 cabernet sauvignons and Bordeaux-style blends. It was followed by the Saddleback Cellars and the Silver Oak, Napa Valley. Most of the wines were surprisingly young, with quite a few years ahead of them. The complete results:
